27 years of civil war resulted in the death and displacement of over 2 million Sudanese people. Many had left the country in search of a peaceful existence. One such couple was Tijwog and Bedpiny Agwet who were in their last year of postgraduate education in Egypt when the call of God came to them, to move into the perimeter area of Kaya, South Sudan.
Local leaders donated land for development and soon the Agwets started the Ambassadors Christian School to provide excellent Biblically based education for returning children.
Tijwog sought and received help from High Adventure and partners who also sent in containers of emergency food supplies as well as radio equipment to start the Ngun Kata FM station high on Prayer Mountain. In addition, High Adventure waited on the Lord and partnered to bring donations of a grinding mill, medical equipment, sewing machines for training of the various tribal mix of women now here.
This exciting Prayer Mountain ministry is expanding to support orphans and many more women who continue to return from conflict across South Sudan. High Adventure continues to search for support of all aspects of this Sudanese ministry to the poor and marginalized.
